It was as far back as 1875 when Francesco Bottene requested and obtained Royal Patent Number 8014 for what was then called “New Machine for the Production of Home Pastas”. The pasta machine was also known as “Bigolaro”, that is, a pasta extruder that can make the very thick spaghetti that in the Venetian dialect is called “Bigoli”. (In addition to the Bigoli, with the Bigolaro pasta 620466077c427f141effa294382f5fba_Lextruder was also possible to produce the type of wide-grooved rigatoni locally known as “Gargati”). Since that time our company has never stopped producing the “Bigolaro” fresh pasta extruder and in the middle of the last century has added to it the production of the first motorized presses (commonly known as “pasta extruders”).
